HERE ARE SOME OF MY COMMISSION PROJECTS SO FAR...

ELEONOR'S COMMISSION
For this commission project I was contacted to create a design of simplified line art, with less detail. The customer preferred the style that appeared more abstract and referenced line art work of Matisse; this lead me to think of the beautiful walls at the art museum, The Tate Modern in St Ives. I looked back at the photos I had taken from when I visited and thoroughly enjoyed designing my own interpretation of these people painted onto the walls. This was something very new to me as I was so accustomed to drawing characters that I was already familiar with, yet I enjoyed being able to take my work in yet another direction. I was very happy with the outcome of this commission and it was one of my favourite to do so far.
KATIE'S COMMISSION

This project was my very first commission that I had been requested to do since starting my business, it is what introduced me to how exciting designing personal work for customers was, and designing something that could have so much meaning to someone. This was a very important design as it was specifically for a tattoo, so I was very careful in ensuring that every last detail was perfect, and I would send updates to the customer of the design, to see if there were any changes that were wanting to be made. This is what is important to me in personal work I design, I want to make sure the customer is 100% happy with the final drawing.
AISHA'S COMMISSION

During this project, the customer had multiple ideas of what she would like out of her commission, I found this very exciting as it meant that I could also explore different versions and ideas within my work from another point of view, and I enjoyed it thoroughly knowing that I was creating something that the customer truly liked and was content with. I have included some of the different variations I designed of this piece on this page, to show how, while I dont stray away from my own unique style that I enjoy so much, I was still open into looking into new ideas, how the drawings looked without borders, which encouraged me to introduce this into some of my own work, and how I may want to include or not include facial features within a design, as the design is still recognisable to the customer of who it was.
